Welcome to the Zombie Guard of the United States!
Greetings and welcome to the Zombie Guard of the United States. We are glad you are here and hope you find what you are looking for.
We originally started as the Wisconsin Zombie Guard in 2011. After several years of activity, we took time off to focus on other projects. Now, we are fully committed to growing the Zombie Guard of the United States into the community we have always envisioned.
We are an organization that uses the zombie genre as a metaphor for everyday life. We are not the first to do this. Others, notably Zombie Squad and ZERT, are fantastic organizations that have been doing this successfully for years. If you have not checked them out, we encourage you to. They have a lot to offer.
How we are different is that we apply the zombie genre to all aspects of life, not just survival tactics or firearms training. A zombie apocalypse would bring together survivors from all walks of life with different skills. There would be warriors, healers, preachers, teachers, and many others. They would come together and form communities that support and care for one another. That is our mission. We want to create a community of people who support each other in all aspects of life using their own unique strengths.
We intend to be active partners in our communities wherever we can. Among other programs, we plan to offer a community chaplaincy corps and leadership development programs to strengthen both our members and the communities we serve.
