Zombie Guard of the United States began in 2011 as the Wisconsin Zombie Guard, a small group focused on preparing for the zombie apocalypse. What started as a local organization has grown into a nationwide community of everyday people who are dedicated to being ready for anything life throws at us. To reflect our national reach and commitment to a broader mission, we became Zombie Guard of the United States.
Our mission is simple: we prepare people in every aspect of life. Whether it’s for the zombie apocalypse or real-world challenges, we focus on building strength—physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological. We discuss practical skills, promote resilience, and foster a community that supports one another.
At Zombie Guard of the United States, we believe in living life to the fullest while staying ready for the unexpected. Our members are citizen zombie hunters, survivalists, and everyday people who want to be strong, skilled, and prepared in all aspects of life.
Join us, and be part of a community that’s committed to facing the future with confidence, whether it’s zombies or the challenges of everyday life.
The Zombie Guard of the United States (ZGUS) is a group of people who choose to live by clear, simple principles. We aim to be steady in crisis, honest in action, and responsible in how we treat others. We are not limited by background or profession. Anyone who commits to these values can belong.
Fortitude
We train to be strong in hard times. We do not avoid pain or fear. We stay calm, think clearly, and act with purpose.
Fidelity
We are loyal to each other and to what is right. We tell the truth. We do not serve power or status. We serve our values.
Finality
We know life is short. We do not waste time. We finish what we start. We accept death, but we do not give in to fear.
• Be honest and take responsibility for your actions.
• Help others. Treat people with respect.
• Train your body and mind to face hard situations.
• Keep your emotions steady. Use reason to guide your choices.
• Accept what you cannot change, and do your best with what you can.
• A leader lives by these principles before asking others to.
• A leader does not seek personal gain.
• A leader earns trust by acting with fairness and courage.
• Good decisions come from clear thinking and care for others.
I am a member of the Zombie Guard of the United States.
I choose Fortitude:
I face hard times without quitting.
I train to be ready.
I do not complain.
I choose Fidelity:
I stay true to the people I serve.
I tell the truth and do what is right.
I act with care and respect.
I accept Finality:
I know I will die.
I act with purpose.
I finish what I start.
I live by this creed. I do not need praise or reward. I do this because it is right.
